| Environmental Restoration and Conservation Agency | 【Industrial information】 The Environmental Restoration and Conservation Agency is a policy implementation organization in the environmental field, which has a hub in Kawasaki City.Our major operation is promoting projects to provide compensation to people whose health has been damaged by pollution, and to prevent negative health effects from pollution. Furthermore, we have created a fund called the "Global Environment Fund," and provide assistance for environmental preservation activities that are being carried out by private sector organizations both in Japan and abroad, with the aim of conserving the environment in developing countries and within Japan. We also develop human resources and provide information, and we pay medical expenses for persons whose health has been damaged by asbestos, and are suffering from mesothelioma, etc. Thus our activities are very wide ranging. |
