AIST AIST conducts research to promote a variety of green innovation. We introduce 2 technologies in this fair. The biodiesel fuel for producing photocatalyst technology to demonstrate the Pilot Brand; cold plasma and photocatalyst efficient technology to remove normal temperature and pressure of hazardous air pollutants. Committee for Synergy in Keihin Industrial Complex In order to aim at delivering industrial and environmental harmony, virtuous cycle and low environmental burden production models to the world, the Review Committee was established by the configuration of various industries, such as petroleum refining, petrochemical and steel; introduction of effective utilization of byproducts and unused energy, actual case studies of intercompany cooperation. Faculty of Environmental and Information Studies, Tokyo City University In the fiscal year of 2010, industrial-academic-citizen jointly collaborate open-type research business for Kawasaki city environmental technology (In order to cooperate organic environmental resources toward a low carbon society, "Scenic Map" is made for carrying out environmental education, facility and skilled persons in environmental field into practice). Environmental Restoration and Conservation Agency Global warming issue is one of the most important environmental issues, the main part requires active work to reduce and absorb emissions of greenhouse gases. Institute of Industrial Promotion Kawasaki New Field and New Technology Research (Abb. NFT) aims at forming the foundation of new product and new business development; it holds 4 study groups and 1 project regularly. In addition, NFT promotes technology and information exchange with research institutions, and also proceeds various assistance in terms of technology and research development. F-15
INTERNATIONAL ECONOMIC AFFAIRS OFFICE ECONOMIC AND LABOR AFFAIRS BUREAU CITY OF KAWASAKI Kawasaki coastal area has driven Japan's industrial development. Recently, the facility amenity of factories and coastals have been reviewed as it has caught considerable attention presenting as a new spot for tourism and study. In order to explore the awareness of this new movement, we introduce coastal amenity elements of Kawasaki, other cities and foreign countries. F-03
KANAGAWA ACADEMY OF SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY We support "Regional Monozukuri" by providing testing and analysis services. As a neutral foundation, we aim at establishing technology standards for evaluation criteria and its application to build a unified evaluation method of organic solar cells as an institution; introduction of "Organic Solar Cell Evaluation Project" and "Photocatalytic JIS Test". Kanagawa Industrial Technology Center Kanagawa Industrial Technology Center supports companies with environment-related technology; introduction of "Mini Waste Plastics Oil Liquefaction Unit" development. As a newly developed application, it aims at reducing transportion costs for low density waste treatment. Also, introduction of mini oil liquefaction unit which attempts to apply to an increasing problem of waste management at drifted floating isolated island. F-07
Kanagawa Institute of Technology Introduction of research accomplishment of solar energy system research and development center:
1. High efficiency solar energy power conversion.
2. Effective use of solar energy (Top-heat-type Thermosyphon).
3. Hydrogen storage and direct use.

5. Effective utilization of solar energy electrical route bus system.

Kanagawa Prefectural Council for Promoting Business and Industrial Establishment 【A new research development and production hub - Kanagawa by all means!】 We introduce the charm and potential of Kanagawa which brings about big location merits, such as abundant talented labor and an aggregation of research institutions.
Moreover, We also present the supporting measures for companies starting business in Kanagawa, provided by Prefectural Government and Municipal Government, etc.

Kawasaki Industrial Tourism Promotion Council Kawasaki Industrial Tourism Promotion Council aims at promoting tourism through Kawasaki superior industrial technology; we not only perform industrial tourism and plant night sightseeing tours, and also conduct industrial tourism certification test and train industrial tour escort to promote industrial tourism. Kawasaki Intellectual Property Exchange Session (Kawasaki CIty/Kawasaki Institute of Industry Promotion)z Kawasaki Intellectual Property Exchange Session aims to strengthen the competitiveness of local industry and activity, transfer accumlated intellectual property knowledges of technology and patent from large companies to small businesses; centering on intellectual property, two-way exchanges is implemented to support SMEs new product development and new business initiatives set up. Keio University Shin-Kawasaki Town Campus An up-to-date industrial-academia-government regional joint research was established as a borne facility through collaboration with Kawasaki City and Keio University Shin-Kawasaki (K2) town campus. While there are diverse advanced researches being promoted in the K2 town campus, we focus our “Environment” related project in this exhibition. F-20

Meiji University We introduce a novel unmanned volcano exploration robot system in this event. This system is based on research results regarding mobile robot (Planetary Rover) which enables us to explore moon/mars surface. Since the rovers have solar power supply energy self-sufficiency features, it can be controlled remotely from ultra-long distance with continuous long-term autonomous operating function, it is expected that this rover would be successfully applied to the activities under severe environmental conditions, such as volcano. The Institute of Information Science, Senshu University Kawasaki industrial-administrative-academic joint project has developed bicycle-type manpower power generator for electricity measurement. Exhibition of Arduino's embedded module of on-line measurement and XBee's wireless data transmission technology. Power generation is quantitatively displayed on PC screen; LED display device displays qualitative by phase. F-14
Yokohama National University Introduction of technology from the Yokohama National University. Fast hydrogen generation technology from biomass; based on the bacteria produced from the world's fastest hydrogen, it is fermented from biomass of seaweed and others. We expect to activate regional areas from energy local production for local consumption. F-05
